Getting to know Jan McKay
My first experience at Wynnum General Gordon was as a parent in 1997… and I’m still here!
I’m married to Shane and we have three lovely daughters and a mini schnauzer dog called Barney and a cockatiel called Max. All the girls were lucky enough to attend WGG and I jumped at the chance to work here as their Administrator in March 2004.
We live locally and really enjoy the bayside lifestyle. During the weekends I love going for a cycle with friends, listening to live music, walking Barney along the waterfront and spending time with family.
I’ve met some wonderful families during my time here at Wynnum General Gordon both as a parent and WGG’s Administrator. We regularly catch up for drinks with a group of parents I met back here in 1997 when my eldest daughter attended. Who’d have thought we’d still be catching up over 21 years later!
I know you’ll all form long lasting “WGG friendships” too.
