Getting to know Miss Kate
Hello I am Miss Kate. I am the Assistant in unit 1 for the St Helena group and the Inclusion Support Assistant for the Coochiemudlo group. I have a Diploma of Children’s Services and ten years previous experience working in child care and kindergarten settings in Brisbane and Northern New South Wales.
I started working at Wynnum General Gordon Kindergarten at the beginning of 2015 and I love it! It is so exciting to see all the children developing new skills, taking on new challenges and making strong friendships. I believe for children and their families the time spent at kindergarten is very special and I feel very privileged to be a part of that.
I am constantly inspired by the children and the dedicated staff. I am very proud to be part of the Wynnum General Gordon Team.
When I’m not at work I enjoy playing netball, trying out new recipes and spending time with my family. I have three children, twin boys and a daughter. We love living in the Wynnum Manly area and spending time at the many parks down by the bay.
