Getting to know Mrs Georgia Maxfield

Hi, I’m Georgia Maxfield, and I work alongside Chantel, Jacqui, and the wonderful children and families in the Moreton group.

I’ve been a teacher for the past fourteen years, teaching Kindy to Year 3. My husband, Ben, and I have two gorgeous, energetic, and imaginative little girls, Poppy and Hallie. We love going on family adventures, swimming in the pool, catching up with family and friends, and going on holidays.

I feel very lucky to work at such an amazing kindy. I absolutely love immersing children in the magical world of play, nurturing their curiosity, imagination, and creativity, while developing essential life skills, confidence, and gorgeous friendships and connections. I am dedicated to supporting and developing children’s well-being, curiosities, strengths, and interests in a warm and nurturing learning environment, while building strong connections with all the children and families in my class. I am passionate about allowing children to follow their interests and fall in love with the joy of learning.
