Getting to know Mrs Sarah Brown
I have enjoyed being an Early childhood teacher for over 20 years and have chosen to only work in community kindergartens because I simply love the partnerships and connections children, families and teachers all experience during this exciting stage of development.
I love developing relationships with children, supporting their curiosity and interests and learning as we engage in play and exploration. When I am at Kindy I love the playfulness of funny stories, silly songs, movement, music and dancing and generally being a part of the children’s natural wonder of the world in which they learn and grow. One of the many things that attracted me to WGG was the opportunity to support the children’s learning within the local community and the beautiful environment through Beach Kindy.
When I am not working I like to go to Pilates and yoga classes, have a yummy breakfast out, do long walks and watch my boys play sport. On holidays my family and I love going to the beach if we feel like a relaxing holiday. Other times we enjoy active holidays in new places or countries and love to have new adventures. I am always looking out for ideas or interests that I can share with the children so we are continually learning and exploring.
